3 ply 100% wool or with a ply of cobweb lycra for extra stretch! We spin it with more twist for longer wear. Each 400 yard skein is hand-painted by us and is completely unique. If there is a color you really don't like, please let us know but otherwise we will send you a completely unique surprise color. It's called "Sox" yarn because that's what Jim spins for knitting socks on his Circular Sock Machine. Our sox yarn is typically sold as a skein but if you would like it on a cone, please choose that option for an additional $.50/cone.
